The golf ball is the only piece of equipment you use on every shot – so it’s worth taking time to ensure you are using the one which is best for your game?

Cliffe carries the full range from a number of Suppliers – here we will feature three of the leaders – Titleist, Srixon and TaylorMade.

They can be purchased by the dozen, a Sleeve of 3 – or Singly.

Choosing the right ball isn’t straightforward. Need Distance? Need Control? Need both?!
Speak to Cliffe – and he will explain your options.

Titleist is well known as the #1 Ball in Golf – it’s used by more Professionals by a fair distance.

The Titleist range is extensive, the Pro V1, Pro V1X, NTX Tour S, Velocity and the DT TruSoft

The Titleist Website has a full explanation of the features of each ball.

Cliffe’s suggestion for the winter months – the middle of the range NTX Tour or the NTX Tour S. It’s available in both White and “High Optic Yellow” – perfect for when the Clocks Change…

The Srixon range starts with the AD Tour, then the AD333 and lastly the Soft Feel.

The AD333 in particular is regarded as a good mid range value for money ball- it also comes in Yellow.

The Srixon Website covers each ball in detail.

There are three models of the TaylorMade Golf Ball range in the Pro’s Shop – the TP5, Project (a) and the Burner

According to the TaylorMade Website the TP5x features a Tri-Fast Core and Dual-Spin Cover that combines for a 5-layer golf ball construction that is specifically engineered to perform with every club in your bag.

The Project (a) on the other-hand is an incredible golf ball for competitive mid-handicappers who need more approach-shot spin. Project (a) is long off every club and feels great around the greens.

Sounds like either would do perfectly to me – but see what Cliffe thinks – and that will give you the confidence to go out on your next round and have a ball?

The Taylormade TP5x also comes with Glencorse Logo if you’d like?
